The Indian Prime Minister, he added, also threatened Pakistan with the use of a nuclear bomb, which he called a mother of all bombs. It was the first time in the history of nuclear weapon states that a Prime Minister has threatened the use of the nuclear bomb against another country.

At the conclusion of the conference, a declaration was unanimously approved calling for taking serious note of the fresh deployment of 80,000 (Eighty thousand) more military personnel, since the UN High Commissioner in his June 2018 report, confirmed the number of Indian militaries personnel to be between 500,000 to 700,000 in Indian occupied Kashmir.

The declaration stated that the international community should take concrete steps to prevent an escalation between two nuclear-armed states by resolving the Kashmir issue in line with the UN Security Council resolutions. The conference called the British government to play the role for peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute by brokering peace between India and Pakistan and highlighting the voice of the Kashmiri people,” the declaration stated.

It called upon the lawmakers of the United Kingdom to raise their forceful voice, for bringing an end to the cycles of human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. We hope a resolution to this effect will be adopted by Parliament so that the people of Jammu and Kashmir no longer suffer.

The UK parliament was urged to support, the UN call to the Indian government to repeal oppressive laws such as the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) and Public Safety Act (PSA), which grant Indian military forces immunity from prosecution for human rights violations. The Conference took a serious note and condemned the decision of the Government of India to ban Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu and JKLF for five years. The ban is a violation of the rights guaranteed under UN Security Council Resolution of 21 April 1948. All political leadership in Kashmir should be able to freely exercise their rights and not face persecution.
