Islamabad: Secretary General Democratic Political Movement, Shaukat Hussain Butt while paying rich and glowing tributes to Shaheed Ghulam Muhammad Bulla on his 43rd martyrdom anniversary has said that martyrs are the heroes of our resistance movement, whose sacrifices for the sacred causeB have internationalized our movement.
Butt said, Shaheed Bulla, was the first son of soil from north Kashmir whose custodial killing inspired the youth of Kashmir to rose against the Indian occupation to uphold the right of self-determination. Bulla was martyred on 15 February, 1975 for braving the infamous Indra-Abdullah accord of 1975 in Central Jail Srinagar at the hands of Occupation authorities.
Butt impressed upon international human rights organizations to impress upon India to withdraw Armed Forces Special Power Act ( APSPA) and draconian laws, that provides the cover to unbridled occupation forces to kill any kashmir in broad daylight.
