Islamabad: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan and Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Saturday condoled the death of Former Senior Advisor to the Secretary General of United Nations and prominent Kashmiri intellectuals, Ambassador Yusuf Buch
AJK President in a statement, issued here termed the demise of Ambassador Yusuf Buch as great loss to Pakistan and especially to the people of Kashmir. He prayed that Almighty Allah may grant the departed soul a highest place in Jannah and also grant fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. It is pertinent to note that ambassador Yousaf Bach was passed away on Friday in New York after protracted illness.
AJ&K Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of Veteran Kashmiri intellectual, former Information minister and ambassador of Pakistan and former senior advisor to the Secretary General of the United Nations Mohammad Yusuf Buch who passed away on Friday evening in New York.
AJK premier Raja Farooq Haider Khan announced on Saturday that the great departed ambassador of the Kashmir cause would be laid to rest at the compound of the mausoleums of Mir Waiz Muhammad Yousaf Shah and K H Khursheed, the former Presidents of Azad Jammu & Kashmir in Muzaffarabad according to the wish of the prominent late Kashmiri intellectual and ambassador.
The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Saturday accorded formal approval for the burial of Yousaf Buch, a great son of the soil, with state honour in the State’s capital town of Muzaffarabad.
Expressing deep sense of shock and grief over the demise of Muhammad Yousaf Buch, AJK minister for Information Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas said that ambassador Buch was a living encyclopedia on Jammu and Kashmir. “He lived an illustrious life of courage and dedicated his life for the cause of Kashmir”, he remarked.
The minister prayed to Allah Almighty to place the departed soul in heaven and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with patience.
