Srinagar: Al-Umar Mujahideen Jammu Kashmir chief commander Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar has called for a complete shutdown on 26 January on Indian Republic day and urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to observe the day as “black day.” Al-Umar Chief said Indian has lost moral right to celebrate its Republic Day in Kashmir as in the last five months they killed Innocent people, blinded Kashmiri Youth and thousands of civilians arrested by Indian occupied forces. It is shame for India which claims the largest Democracy they even did not spare the kids, girls and old ones during the last six months.
In a telephonic statement to “The Fortress” Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar, chief commander of Al-Umar Mujahideen said that India has snatched freedom from Kashmiris, “So the people should observe complete shutdown on Jan 26 and celebrate the day as black day.” He asked people to shut all business establishments on the day. Zargar added that the lasting solution of Kashmir issue was possible only under the UN resolutions. He said the UN resolutions declare Kashmir as a disputed territory and justify Kashmiris freedom struggle. “Till India won’t follow and implement the UN resolutions all the talks are futile. We will continue our fight for freedom till Indian forces are on Kashmir soil. Al-Umar Chief added.
Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar threatened the state Government saying that we will not allow at any cost to establish any separate Pandit settlements in Kashmir Valley. “Whole world knows Pandits were coaxed and cajoled by Jagmohan to leave Kashmir. We will not allow them to settle in separate settlements,” Al-Umar Chief added.
