Srinagar: Kashmiri Militant Group Al-Umar Mujahideen chief commander Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar has called for a complete shutdown on August 15 and observing the day of Indian independence day as “black day.” He appealed the people of Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate August 14 (Pakistan’s Independence Day) with pomp and show across the state.
In a telephonic statement to local News Net work kashmir News service KNS, Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar said that India has snatched freedom from Kashmiris, “So the people should observe complete shutdown on August 15 and celebrate the day as black day.” He asked people to shut all business establishments on the day and ply no traffic on roads but hospitals buses.
Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar added that the lasting solution of Kashmir issue was possible only under the UN resolutions. He said the UN resolutions declare Kashmir as a disputed territory and justify Kashmiris freedom struggle.
It is reminded that every year United Jihad Council (UJC) and All Parties Hurriat Conference (APHC) appeal to observe Indian Independence day as black day. On 15th August business remains closed because militants strike call but despite this pro Indian government in Jammu and Kashmir observe the Indian independence day officially in curfew and shut down.
