SLAMABAD: Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mr. Akan Rakhmetullin met with the Vice-President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and industry of Pakistan.
During the meeting, issues of strengthening trade and economic cooperation were discussed. The Pakistani side expressed interest in building up ties with the business community of Kazakhstan. She drew attention to the need to establish banking ties, resume direct flights and simplify visa procedures.
A new border crossing on the border with Afghanistan – “Chitral”, through which goods and services can be exchanged between our countries, was presented. For its part, the Embassy presented investment teasers of Kazakhinvest JSC “Kazakh Invest”, as well as products of “ZTOWN Development”.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on a trip to the new border crossing, as well as on organizing visits to chambers of Commerce and industry in various provinces of the country.
