APHC concerned over the continuous house arrest of leadership

Srinagar: Expressing serious concern over the continuous house arrest of APHC Chairman Dr. Mirwaiz Umar   Farooq , Hurriyat spokesman  termed the action of government as an act of   political vendetta. He said that government was time and again placing Mirwaiz under house arrest, thereby imposing curbs and restrictions on his social, religious and political activities. He said that Mirwaiz who is the religious chief cleric of Kashmir, has been barred from offering even Friday prayers, adding, it amounts to direct interference in the religious affairs of people of Kashmir.

Hurriyat spokesman has also condemned the continuous house arrest of senior Hurriyat leader Mukhtar Ahmad waza and JKLF Chairman Yasin Malik and termed the government  action highly deplorable. He said that  government was stopping the Hurriyat leader from doing peaceful politics.
