UN Secretary General should appoint special envoy for Kashmir: Raja Farooq Haider

Muzaffarabad:  Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan appealed the United Nations secretary General Ban Ki Moon to intervene personally and appoint a special envoy for Kashmir who visit both parts of Jammu and Kashmir and submit his report in United Nations regarding present prevailing situation of LOC and Indian controlled Kashmir. AJK PM also urged the international community to press upon Indian government to respect the UN resolutions on Kashmir.

He said this while talking to delegation of Navel Staff College in the state capital AJK on Wednesday. AJK Premier said that India should immediately stop human rights violations in held valley. He said in the crucial time we are stand with our brothers of occupied Kashmir.

Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan strongly condemned the killing of innocent Kashmiris in Kashmir and said Indian forces have declared a full-scale war in the bleeding occupied valley.

As everybody of world knows forces in Kashmir valley are killing innocent people but the liberation movement would be taken to its logical conclusion. The Prime Minister said that the Kashmir dispute should be settled through dialogue according to United Nations resolutions and the aspirations of Kashmiri people.

Mean while the prime minister offered Fetah for the martyred hawaldar Ibrar at Kuhnian village and announced financial aid of Rs. 3 lakh for martyred Ibrar`s widow. AJK Minister for Information Mushtaq Minhas was also present on the occasion.
