Car strikes people outside Birmingham mosque

London: At least two people were badly injured after a car reportedly struck people outside the Shah Jalal mosque in Aston, Birmingham on Friday.

As per details, the incident took place when the worshipers coming out the mosque after offering Friday prayers, while police officials reportedly said they have not ruled out the potential that the incident on Ettington Road in Aston could be terror-related.

In the incident, one victim sustained a serious head injuries and the other has been described as walking wounded, while police were trying to trace the identity of the person driving the car that hit people outside the mosque, injuring at least two youth. British media reported.

Police have started investigation to know the nature of the incident, and asked the people to share information, if they have any, about the incident that created panic in the local community
