Islamabad: Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif here at the PM office on Wednesday to discuss the country’s security situation.
According to the statement issued by the PM office, the professional engagements and the security challenges confronted to the country were discussed.
General Bajwa apprised the PM of the progress made in the ongoing operation Radd-ul-Fasaad over which the premier expressed his satisfaction.
The PM appreciated the role of the armed forces of Pakistan for their matchless sacrifices towards the national goal of achieving peace in the country.
