Conspiracy being hatched against democracy: Khurshid Shah

Jacobabad: Opposition leader Syed Khurshid Shah on Tuesday has said conspiracy is being hatched against democracy in the country and politicians should nail the senses to make the country stable.

“Politicians should exercise restraint. The country is passing through critical situation. Conspiracy is being hatched against democracy in the country. Talks are there for dismembering Pakistan. The politicians should nail the senses otherwise country would slide into instability”, he said this while talking to media men in Kandh Kot Tuesday.

He alleged that Mian Nawaz Sharif is getting stronger due to flawed policies of Imran Khan. Power hungry Kaptan is now forging alliance with MQM. “We want to tell that Karachi is integral part of Sindh. No one should talk of making it a separate province”, he added.

He held that “ we always talked of safeguarding democracy and parliament.
“We are not desirous of becoming prime minister but we are eager for making the parliament and democracy strong. We brought Imran Khan from roads to parliament and ensured payment of 8 months salary to them. It is we who had brought back MQM to parliament”, he observed.

He remarked “ Pervez Musharraf is a coward person. He is hurling empty threats while sitting abroad. Benazir Bhutto had declared him her killer during her life time. If Musharraf thinks him brave then he should return to Pakistan and face the courts”.
