Daily Kashmir Group Holds Condolence Reference to Honour Late Ved Bhasin

Islamabad:  Daily Kashmir Post Group of publications headed by Altaf Ahmad Butt held a condolence reference to honour late Kashmiri journalist, Ved Bhasin chief editor Kashmir times at local hotel  in Islamabad.

The speakers form both parts of Kashmir were of opinion  that the people of Kashmir has lost a true ambassador of their cause. The speakers on the occasion paid rich tributes to the services of Ved Bhasin in the field of journalism and politics. They said that the noted journalist was one of the greatest defenders of the Kashmir cause.

It was said that Veid Bhasin, a late hero of the Kashmir freedom struggle, legendary journalist, human rights activist was only non controversial personality who was  equally popular at both the sides of Jammu & Kashmir state. His life-time services for Kashmir cause will be remembered in the freedom history of Jammu & Kashmir for ever.

speakers said that Ved Bhasin was one of the leading pioneers of Kashmir freedom movement in Indian  Kashmir and he joined the ongoing struggle against despot Dogra rule and Indian occupation of the state during pre and after 1947 regimes in the state.

The reference was organized by Altaf Ahmad Butt, the Chairman of Daily Kashmir Post Group of publications. Those who spoke included Dr Muhammad Khan, Arif Kamal, Shaikh Tajammul-ul-Islam, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar, Altaf Ahmed Butt, Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl, Ms Shamima Shawl, Rafiq Ahmad Dar, Abdul Hameed Lone, Doctor Waleed Rasool, Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi, Imtiaz Butt, Aabid Khursheed, Aashiq Hussain, Aqeel Tareen, Mrs. Azra Masood and Tariq Masood. On the occasion, Shaikh Tajammul read out a message of Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai regarding Ved Bhasin.
