Islamabad: Five people were killed and six injured when a jeep plunged into a river near Grave valley in Muzaffarabad on Friday,Radio Pakistan reported.
According to reports, the jeep was on its way to the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) from the Neelum valley when the driver lost control of the vehicle on an unpaved road, and the jeep fell into the Neelum River.
Rescue officials and local residents reached the spot of the incident soon afterwards and helped the injured out of the ill-fated vehicle and transferred them to a nearby hospital. The hospital administration had confirmed the death of five people in the accident, while six are being treated for their injuries.
