FM Qureshi says Pakistan wants to further expand its relations with Indonesia

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Pakistan wants to further expand its bilateral relations with Indonesia. Outgoing Indonesian Ambassador Mr. Iwan Suyudhie Amri meets Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi for farewell call.

Talking to outgoing Ambassador of Indonesia Iwan Suyudhie Amri in Islamabad on Wednesday, he emphasized on further promoting bilateral cooperation in various sectors, including defence and commerce.

The foreign minister thanked Indonesia for playing its positive role in a debate held in UN Security Council on Kashmir.

The outgoing Ambassador lauded Pakistan s role in successfully overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Ambassador said that both countries enjoyed excellent relations in various fields. Both sides emphasized the need to further expand bilateral relations in the fields of defence and trade.
