Islamabad: Hizb ul Mujahideen on Monday announced Muhammad Bin Qasim as its new Field Operational Commander after the martyrdom of former operational commander Yasin Yatoo alias Mehmood Ghaznavi in an 18 hour long encounter with Indian Occupational forces in Shopian on Sunday, Hizb Spokes Person Salim Hashmir quoted.
According to the statement Muhammad Bin Qasim is the new Field Operational Commander nominated by the Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahudin in an extra ordinary Command Council Meeting.The council paid rich tributes to t, Yasin Yatoo alias Mehmood Ghaznawi, the successor of Burhan Muzaffar Wani and his associates Engineer Irfan, and Umer Majeed, the statement said.
Hizb chief while paying the tribute to martyrs said, “their martyrdom is extremely painful, but their blood will give further impetus to the Kashmir struggle. Time has proved that thousands of Burhan’s came forward, when Indian government had thought that Kashmir struggle will get weakened by Burhan’s martyrdom. Martyrdom of Ghaznawi and his companions has the same message.”
Salahuddin said the struggle against occupation will continue with full vigour with the support of pro-freedom people and Mujahideen and warned that traitors will face a bitter end.
