Imam-ul-Haq, the 3rd Youngest Cricketer to make century on ODI debut

Islamabad: Imam-ul-Haq became the 3rd youngest among 13 overall and second Pakistan batsman to score a maiden hundred on 125 balls on his one-day international debut against Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi cricket ground on Wednesday.

Imam scored maiden ODI century and was named man of the match. He is the second Pakistan batsman after Saleem Elahi to score his maiden ODI hundred on debut.

The 21-year-old young left –handed opener hitting five boundaries and two sixes in his maiden debut century is believed to have all the potential in the world with his solid technique.

He played the U -19 Asia Cup in 2012 at the age of 16 and scored 88 in his first game against India U-19. He scored three successive fifties with an average of 45 from 5 games. Being the nephew of Inzimam-ul-Haq, he did all at the very young age showing glimpses of great skill and technique of his great Uncle.
