Indian Denial Process is the biggest obstruction for the peaceful solution of Kashmir issue

Islamabad: Kashmiri Hurriyat Leader Altaf Ahmed Bhat has said that  Kashmiri people are struggling for their birthright and this right of Kashmiris has been recognized by the United Nations. Due to India’s denial process and indifference of the United Nations, the Kashmir issue has been unresolved for 73 years.

Bhat said that India’s policy of denial and stubbornness and after the abrogation of Article 370 & 35A, the policy of suppressing Kashmiris by force will be a disaster for India. The extremist policies of RSS backed BJP led govt are aimed at suppressing the people of Occupied Kashmir by force in which India can never succeed.

He expressed these views in his response to the martyrdom of Kashmiri soldiers Ahedel Riaz Naikoo and Junaid Sahrai.

The youth are our precious assets. They are being martyred in the fake cordon and search operations. The Economy of the region has been destroyed, while houses are being demolished, Bhat added.

Bhat asserted that No negotiations to resolve the Kashmir dispute can be successful unless the real parties to the Kashmir dispute -the Kashmiris, are included in the negotiations. Now is the time for India to fulfil its promises to the Kashmiris and resolve the Kashmir issue in the light of UN resolutions on Kashmir.

Altaf Ahmed Bhat while emphasizing on Tripartite Talks said that, The Kashmir issue should be resolved in the light of the aspirations and wishes of the Kashmiri people through tripartite talks. As Kashmiris are the ones who have suffered the most and without their involvement no negotiations could be accepted.

Bhat further said that Peace in South Asia demands a peaceful solution to Kashmir Issue, Until the Kashmir issue is resolved, the dream of peace in the region cannot be realized. “Due to India’s persistent bigotry, oppression and violence, the educated and conscious youth of occupied Kashmir are again forced to carry guns. If this attitude of Indian bigotry continues, the fire in Kashmir could engulf the whole of India at any time.” Bhat added.
