The leaders in one voice appealed pro freedom camp to unite and forge unity among its ranks., It was felt that though all leaders claim that they work for unity but unity in practice is no where and people are desperate to see their near and dear ones loosing their lives and instead of these precious sacrifices presented by people freedom faction is divided in more than forty camps. We are facing arbitrary measures, detentions, PSA, agencies, Plunder, loot, molestation, killings and our youth are being tortured in torture cells and what is the fun of all these countless parties, said Zafar Akbar.

When our motive and goal is one then why are we divided in numerous camps, said Zafar Akbar in his presidential adress .Zafar Akbar expressed his dismay and displeasure that families of martyrs are living a miserable life and it is our duty to look after these families and come to their rescue. Referring to recent killings in Handwara Zafar Akbar said that we are being killed ,harassed and our youth are facing pellet and pepper guns and world is acting as mute spectator .It is because that we couldn’t capitalize our sacrifices and it is so sad that till now we failed to convince world that it is an indigenous movement .Referring to geopolitical scenario, Zafar Akbar said that though world is keenly monitering our sacrifices but because of different factions we are unable to convince world about real situation prevailing in Jammu and Kashmir.
