Islamabad: Speakers at a seminar organized by JKLF to comommorate Late Amanullah khan on his first death anniversary at Abi Guzar , Srinagar paid glowing tribute to prominent liberation leader and described him the legendry founder of the present armed struggle against Indian occupation.
Senior hurriyat leader and Chairman JKLF Muhammad yasin Malik while paying tribute to Amanullah Khan and his matchless sacrifices stressed on New Delhi to follow the Universal principles of dialogue and bring kashmiris, Delhi and Islamabad on table to address long pending Kashmir issue.
JKLF leader, while addressing the seminar termed the present ruling BJP, fascists and said, “ the successful dialogue can only be result oriented with out any condition, taking all the three parties on board to discuss the issue”
Malik, while referring to 1975 Indira-Abdullah Accord, said, “An impression was created by the then leadership in New Delhi that they have won Kashmir battle but Amanullah Khan and Abdul Khaliq Ansari started Kashmir movement from streets of London, and Kashmir movement received a new impetus and direction.”
Reacting over the reports about 13000 Jan Sena activists would be arriving in Kashmir to take on stone-pelters, Malik said, Jan Sena can not face the valiant youth of Kashmir and will face the defeat as their military might is facing since 1990 in the state,
Taking a dig on Chief Mister Mehbooba Mufti for “creating hype” about former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajapyee’s Kashmir model, the JKLF chief said, “None other than the veteran BJP leader L K Advani punctured the Vajpayee’s Kashmir doctrine in his own book that has clearly mentioned that Delhi was not even ready to give Autonomy to JK and that there was no question of moving beyond the ambit of Indian constitution. Chief Minister just wants to safeguard her chair somehow. In her recent meeting with the Home Minister Rajnath Singh, she managed to get extension for three more months.”
Underscoring the sacrifices of the youth in the present intifada and unity among the pro-freedom leadership, Malik said that freedom struggle will be taken to its logical conclusion at all costs.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Ghulam Nabi Zaki of Hurriyat Conference (M), Masroor Abbas Ansari, noted writer Abdul Majid Zargar, Shabir Ahmed Dar, civil society activist Shakeel Qalander, Dr Zafar Mehdi, Ilyas Wani, brother of slain JKLF commander Ishfaq Majeed Wani, Abdul Kabir Sheikh, the father of Front commander Abdul Hameed sheikh.
Besides various resistance leaders and activists, intellectuals, writers and people from all walks of life participated in the meeting. Among those who participated and addressed the meeting included Abul Majeed Zargar, ZG Muhammad, Moulana Khurshid Kanoogo, Moulana Showkat Keng, doctor Zafar Mehdi, Abdul Kabir sheikh( father of Shaheed Sheikh Abdul Hamid), Ilyas Wani ( brother of Shaheed Ishfaq Majeed Wani), Muhammad Yasin Khan, Shakil Ahmad Qalandar, Jan Muhammad Matoo, Farooq Ahmad Nawaz, and various leaders from resistance camp including Ghulam Nabi Zaki, Masroor Abbas Ansari, Abdul Rashid Untoo, Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi, Shabir Ahmad Dar, Hakim Abdul Rashid, Musaib Ahmad, Bilal Ahmad Sideeqi, Firdous Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Mir Ghulam Hassan, Muhammad Ramzan Khan, Meraj uddin Rabani, Rameez Raja, Advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt, Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Master Muhammad Afzal, Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Muhammad Yasin Butt, Sirajud din Mir and Zahoor Ahmad Butt and others also participated in the seminar.
