Pakistan’s parliament Kashmir committee chairman, Mr. Shehryar Khan Afridi, revealed the plan to highlight Kashmir issue at International level.
The chairman of the Pakistan’s parliament Kashmir committee while sharing the details of proposed plan said that a strategy was under consideration to send high level delegations to 22 global destinations, forums, think tanks and institutions to plead the case of Kashmiris after the improvement in COVID-19 pandemic situation.
Shehryar Khan Afridi, expressed these views with the media after holding a detailed meeting at YFK-International Kashmir Lobby Group office in Islamabad on wednesday.
Ahmed Quraishi, the Executive Director of YFK-International Kashmir Lobby Group briefed the activities of YFK at domestic and international forums. The chairman of Pakistan’s parliament Kashmir committee highly appreciated the efforts of YFK and said there is a dire need that the whole Pakistan nation stand behind the sacrifices of Kashmiris.
Zaman Bajwa lobbyis YFK and Ghulam Shabbir Incharge digital media YFK were also present in the briefing.
Kashmir committee chairman stated that members of senate, National assembly, representatives of Kashmiri diaspora, Azad Kashmir, refugees and APHC will be part of delegation.
He said the youth can play a vital role in this regard, he urged the Youth to stand by with Kashmiri brethren and raise their voices for them on social media platforms.
Afridi appealed the International community, UN and EU to press India to stop “genocide” of Kashmiris by Indian security forces. He further said, became a key issue in the global digital space and that Pakistan would not allow India to mislead the world on the ongoing “genocide” there.
Chairman of the parliament’s Kashmir committee, claimed New Delhi was using backdoor channels to resume talks to Pakistan. However, he said his country would not talk to India unless the Kashmir issue was on the agenda.
The worst human rights violations in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir had exposed the real face of so-called secular Indian state before the world and its high time for the international powers to help Kashmiris in exercise their right of self determination, APP added.
He said the Kashmir Committee was mobilizing all resources to highlight the issue of Kashmir at every key forum of the world.
