Islamabad: A high level Saudi Arabian delegation headed by Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers and Advisor to the Royal Saudi Court arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday. Federal Minister for Power Division Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-maliki and other high-up of foreign ministry received the dignities at Noor Khan air base Rawalpindi. The delegation was comprised Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral resources Khalid Al-Falih and other high level officials of relevant ministries.
Latter at evening the Saudi delegation led by Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban was called on prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, defense minister engineer Khurram Dastagir Khan and Finance Minister Miftah Ismail were also present in the meeting. PM abbasi reiterated Pakistan’s desire and interest in strengthening economic and trade relations between the Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The Saudi delegation conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, to the prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers of Saudi Arabia on the occasion said that Saudi Arabia has a desire to enhance already existing closer economic and trade relations with Pakistan. The prime minister welcoming the Saudi delegation desire reiterated Pakistan’s close fraternal ties with Saudi Arabia and the government’s commitment to strengthen the bilateral relations in all areas of mutual interest.
The prime minister also conveyed his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Highness Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence and the brotherly people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
