Kwick High Tech Donates House Holds to Earthquake Affects of Gilgit Baltistan

Islamabad: German Ambassador to Pakistan Mrs Ina Lepel handed over 500 quilts valued of Rs 1.5 million to Mr. Salman-ud-Din from the Agha Khan Foundation on Wednesday. Kwick High Tech & Solutions (Pvt) Ltd organized an event for the contributions for the earthquake victims who were affected in Gilgit Baltistan & Chitral. Ina Lepel Ambassador of Germany was Chief Guest of the ceremony while Mr. Waseem Rafi, CEO Kwick High Tech & Solutions,  Chairman PTA Dr. Syed Ismail Shah as Chief Guest, Chairman Central Asian Cellular Forum, DG Railways, DG Passport, Director & CEO Karandaaz and Salman ud Din Program Head  Agha Khan Foundation were among the participants.

In her address Ina Lepel Ambassador of Germany appreciated the efforts made by Kwick High Tech & Solutions (Pvt) Ltd towards alleviating the hardships faced by Gilgit-Baltistan & Chitral residents. Mrs. Lepel on the occasion informed the audience that German Government is also providing support to the people of KPK, Sindh, Punjab and Baluchistan in social sectors.

Ambassador Ina Lepel thanked Kwick High Tech CEO, Mr Waseem Rafi, for his generosity and emphasized the need to combine forces of the public and the private sector to support those in greatest need in times of natural disasters.The Ambassador had also emphasized that the community service is a collective duty of all citizens. Chairman PTA also emphasized on the good work done.

Mr. Waseem Rafi, CEO Kwick High Tech & Solutions, in his address has informed the guest that after SIMs and biometric solutions now Kwick High Tech & Solutions (Pvt) Ltd is working on other ventures which are mainly digital payments, Branchless Banking solutions and e-commerce. He also mentioned about the company’s efforts on IoT solutions.

On this occasion Mr. Salman ud Din, Program Head Agha Khan Foundation, lauded the initiative shown by all stakeholders for helping the victims. He also informed the guests that Agha Khan Foundation is working for the development in the field of education, healthcare the relocation of victims of earthquake Gilgit Baltistan & Chitral.
