Islamabad : it was disclosed in a press conference by Falah Insaniat Foundation Karachi chapter incharge shahid mahmood that the two member delegation visited the burman refugees camps on the border of Bangladesh.
India and United States blame that Jamat Dawa is a cover organization of Lashkar Taiba and they are responsible of Mumbai attacks on November 2008 in which 166 people were killed. A charge which hafiz saeed and lashkar taiba deny.
In the early of august,a top US counter terrorism expert Daniel Benjamin said that Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) is a threat to stability in South Asia.”I have not seen any decrease in Lashkar-e Taiba strength. It continues to be a matter of great concern to us, and I’ve spoken on many occasions about the threat to stability in South Asia that Lashkar-e Taiba poses,” the Ambassador at Large and Coordinator for Counterterrorism, Daniel Benjamin told the reporters.
Falah Insaniat Foundation in charge Shahid Mahmood said that the burman Muslims are living in a very bad condition and even the Bangladesh government has also closed the border to Burma.
But we will not leave them alone at the hour of need and soon a delegation of doctors will go to Bangladesh to provide them the all possible medical treatments. On the question whether you met with other people in, “he replied that yes we met with the several political and relief organization, and visited dahka, chitagang and other major cities of Bangladesh.
Shahid Mahmood claimed that they visited the Teknaf city where these refugees camps are situated on the border of Bangladesh, “we met with the people living there and inquire about their necessities, and we will try our best to fulfill the demands of the refugees. The two member delegation was comprised on Shahid Mahmmod Incharge Falah Insaniat Foundation Karachi and Nadeem Ahmad Awan the spokes man of jamat dawa Karachi chapter.
It is note worthy despite the ban and added into the Foreign Terrorist Organizations by United States on November 2010, Falah Insaniat Foundation is fully active in Pakistan and its members are travelling abroad.
The official order then also named Falah Insaniat Foundation chairman Hafiz Abdur Rauf and two other men associated with lashkar taiba Mian Abdullah and Mohammad Naushad Alam Khan, to its list of “specially designated global terrorists.”
JuD was blacklisted by the United Nations following the November 2008 attack on Mumbai, blamed on the lashkar taiba. The group, which is also banned in Pakistan, denies it still has links to lashkar taiba.
But at the same time jamat dawa claims the Falah-e-Insaniyat foundation has nothing to do with lashkar taiba or terrorism and they provide education, healthcare and disaster relief to the affectless across the country and abroad. International community also accept that they were the first who reached after a earth quake in Pakistan controlled Kashmir in October 2005.
