Man dies after US envoy’s car collides with motorcycle in Islamabad

Islamabad: A man was killed after a white Land Cruiser belonging to the United States Embassy in Islamabad hit his motorcycle in Islamabad’s Daman-e-Koh vicinity here on Saturday, April 7, 2018.

The  man was killed after a US Embassy car collided with a motorcycle in the federal capital here on Saturday.

The US defense air attaché, who was driving the white Land Cruiser, hit the motorcyclists near Islamabad’s Daman-e-Koh vicinity. The US official was not arrested owing to their diplomatic immunity, however, the police took custody of the vehicle and has been parked in Islamabad Kohsar Police station.

The victim has been shifted to PIMS hospital Islamabad.
