Islamabad: Senior APHC leader and incarcerated Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML), Masarrat Aalam Butt, re-arrested after he was bailed out by a local court in Baramulla in a false case registered against him in 2016.
The JKML in a statement issued from Srinagar said that the Court of Baramulla Munsif had granted bail to the incarcerated leader two days ago.
According to the statement the authorities of Baramulla jail set the senior APHC leader free on Monday after the bail order was served to them. However, Indian police re-arrested him and shifted him to some undisclosed location.
It is to mention here that sixteen successive detention orders under PSA have been slapped against Masrat Alam and he was kept in almost continuous and unbroken custody since the year 1990.
