Islamabad: President of Pakistan Mamnoon Husain said that his country attaches great importance to its relations with Saudi Arabia and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The President said to Newly appointed Saudi Arabian ambassador Abdullah Marzouk Al-Zahrani on Friday that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia had and have very close and brotherly relations.
The President felicitated the Abdullah Marzouk Al-Zahrani new ambassador of Saudi Arabia on his new assignment and hoped that bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia would touch new heights during his period.
President Mamnoon Hussain also expressed keenness of the leadership and people of Pakistan for the promotion and development of fraternal relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to new heights of cooperation in various fields.
During the reception at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad Saudi Ambassador Abdullah Marzouk Al-Zahrani conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; the Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense to Pakistani President, stressing the Kingdom’s keenness to consolidate and strengthen its friendly relations and cooperation with the Republic of Pakistan in all fields.
Including Abdullah Marzouq Al-Zahrani, Ambassador-designate of Saudi Arabia, ambassadors and high commissioners who also presented their credentials were Margaret Adamson, High Commissioner-designate of Australia, Claudio Raja Gabaglia Lins, Ambassador-designate of Brazil, Dr. Archbishop Ghaleb Moussa Abdulla Bader, Ambassador- designate of Holy See, Ina Ruth Luise Lepel, Ambassador-designate of Germany, Kim Thae Sop, Ambassador-designate of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Yusuf Elahee, High Commissioner-designate of Mauritius, Carlos Morales, Ambassador-designate of Spain, Ong Keng Yon, High Commissioner-designate of Singapore (Resident in Singapore) and Bangaly Diakhaby, Ambassador-designate of Guinea (Resident in Tehran).
