Islamabad: Harkat-ul-Mujahideen founder (HuM) and chief of Ansar-ul-Ummah(AuM) Maulan Fazal Rehman Khalil said Jihad is the only way to liberate Kashmir from Indian occupation. Addressing a huge rally here in Islamabad AuM chief demanded Pakistani government to cut off diplomatic and trade ties with India. He urged the United Nations and OIC to play its respective role to stop Indian forces whom had crossed all limits of atrocities, barbarism, inhuman violence and brutality against the innocent and unarmed Kashmiri people.
The protest rally was organized by jointly Ansar-ul-Ummah(AuM), Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamat (ASWJ), Jamiat Ulema Islam, Majlis Tahfaiz Khatam Nabovat Al-almi, the rally started form Lal Masjid to the Aabpara Market and later ended peacefully. Maulan Fazal Rehman Khalil chief of Ansar-ul-Ummah(AuM), Maulana Abdul Rehman Movia, Maulana Abdul Roof and Qari Abdul Waheed Qasmi addressed the rally. The protesters who were holding placards and chanting slogans against Indian brutalities in Kashmir also burnt Indian flags to express solidarity with Kashmiri people.
Addressing on the occasion Maulan Fazal Rehman Khalil former chief of Harkat ul Muajahideen (HuM) appealed the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) to summon emergency meeting of OIC components to take stock the terrorists attack in Saudi Arabia, he said OIC should play its role for the protection Harmeen Sharefeen and condemn the Indian atrocities against kashmiri people at its height level. He urged the government saying that to condemn the Indian actions is not enough but Pakistani government should cut off its diplomatic relations with Indian.
The killing of Kashmiri freedom fighter Burhan Wani on July 8, invited the Kashmiri people on roads for demonstration. The civilians faced a severe wave of violence by Indian forces that claimed about 34 innocent lives and left hundreds of injured. The International Human Rights organization has also recently demanded Indian government to probe the incident of dozens of casualties of innocent civilian following the Indian forces violence in occupied Kashmir.
In another development Chairman Parliamentary Kashmir Committee Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Friday said India was using delaying tactics in dialogue on Kashmir issue and international community should take cognizance of Indian brutalities and exert pressure on it to give Kashmiris their right to self-determination.
In an interview with PTV, he said it was not Pakistan but India which repeatedly suspended the dialogue process on one pretext or the other. “Now, when the situation has once again erupted in occupied Kashmir, it is responsibility of international community and the United Nations to get implemented the UN resolutions to give Kashmiri people their just right to self-determination.”
He called upon the world to shun double standards and hear the voice of innocent Kashmiris who were braving Indian atrocities and barbarianism and laying down their lives for a just cause.
