Pakistan and Korean cooperation will improve further days to come: Mr. Kwak Seong Kyu

Islamabad: Ambassador of Korea to Pakistan, Mr. Kwak Seong Kyu, said Korea welcomes the employment of skilled and dedicated labor from Pakistan and  cooperation between Pakistan and Korea will further improve in the days to come. Korean envoy expressed these views during a ceremony held at the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & HRD on Wednesday. In his address Mr. Kwak Seong Kyu appreciated the cooperation between the Ministry of OP&HRD and Ministry of Employment and Labor.

In a ceremony held at the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & HRD on Wednesday, the Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and HRD, Pir Syed Sadruddin Shah Rashidi signed an MoU with South Korea for employment of Pakistani workers in Korea through Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) for two years 2018-19. Secretary OP&HRD, Dr. Muhammad Hashim Popalzai, Honorable ambassador of Korea in Pakistan, Mr. Kwak Seong Kyu, Managing Director OEC, Dr. Amer Sheikh and other senior officers of the Ministry and OEC were also present on the occasion. The Federal Minister welcomed the Korean side for giving the Government of Pakistan an opportunity to send Pakistani workers to South Korea through a transparent and efficient mechanism.
