Peace of South Asia Linked with Settlement of Kashmir Dispute: Zaffer Akbar Bhat

Islamabad: Zaffer Akbar Bhat chairman Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement said that peace of south Asia is related with the peaceful settlement of Jammu and Kashmir and according to resolutions of United Nations. Indian occupied forces are committing grave human rights violations on daily basis and there is hard need to uncover the real face of Indian Democracy before the world.

Zaffer Akbar Bhat made these remarks after arriving Islamabad leading a high level delegation to participate international Kashmir conference. The visiting delegation include renowned sikh leader Nrinder Singh Khalsa, Journalist Shah Abbas, Showket Nanda, Farzana Mumtaz, Sajjad Rasool, Bilal Ahmad Bhat, Basarat Hussain Mumtaz, Arshie Javed and Touseef Mir.


Addressing the reception on the occasion Zaffer Akbar Bhat said that Kashmir freedom struggle is at a very crucial justice and urgently needs that attention of world community. He also briefed them about the anti-Kashmir and anti-freedom movement policies of Indian under which non-Kashmiris are being settled in the state. Zaffer said that such agenda’s and ideas needs to be resisted at any cost.

He said that Hurriyat leadership has never opposed dialogue process but it should be meaning full and result oriented. Zaffer marinated that Kashmiris are basic party to Kashmir dispute and should be taken on board for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute.


On his arrival in Islamabad Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Vice Chairman Tufail Altaf Bhat welcomed the delegation comprising students, journalists, political leaders, intellectuals and social activists.
