Raja Najabat announced schedule of conferences to highlights Kashmir issue at international level

Islamabad: Raja Najabat Hussain, Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Self-determination Movement International (JKSDMI) has announced the schedules of multiple conferences, seminars and debates to highlights Kashmir issue at international level in June and July. JKSDMI has decided to host Youth Parliamentarians Conference in June, International Women’s Conference and Conference on Kashmir Martyrs’ Day on July 13 in European Parliament.

The International Youth Parliamentarians Conference will be held in the British Parliament on June 18 in association with the All Parties Kashmir Parliamentary Group. Yasmin Dar, a member of the Labor Party’s National Executive Committee and chairperson of the Right to Self-Determination Movement, will host the International Women’s Conference at the end of June.

On the occasion of Kashmir Martyrs’ Day on July 13, an International Parliamentary Conference will be held in the European Parliament in collaboration with Friends of Kashmir. A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Self-determination Movement International (JKSDMI) will also participate in the lobbying campaign at UN meetings in the United States and Geneva.

In another development a joint meeting of Pakistani and British youth will be held online on June 18, 2020. Obaid Qureshi, President Youth Parliament of Pakistan said that Debbie Ibrahim, chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Kashmir Group, will make a special appearance in the British Parliament. The meeting will be attended by representatives of the British and Pakistani parliaments as well as members of the Youth Parliament of Pakistan and the United Kingdom.

The purpose of the conference will be to discuss the role of youth in welfare work, the Kashmir issue and the killing of thirteen youth by the Indian occupying forces in the recently occupied Kashmir.

Apart from Debbie Abrahams MP, Raja Najabat Hussain, Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Self-determination Movement International (JKSDMI), Mr. Obaid Qureshi, the President of the Youth Parliament of Pakistan and Mr. Abrar-ul-Haq will participate in the video conference.

This will be the first unique meeting of its kind in which young people and MPs from both the countries will participate. The Youth Parliament delegation will be led by Vice Chairman “Mr. Sardar Babar Dogar”. Cabinet members of the Youth Parliament are finalizing the arrangements.

 

Among the organizers will be Cabinet Secretary Bilal Masood Sheikh and political and social leader Kanwal Hayat. The list of representatives from Pakistan was released. Members of Youth Parliament of Pakistan: Mr. Tabish Abbasi, Mr. Faisal Jamshed, Mr. Shehzad Khan, Mr. Usman Haideri, Mr. Waleed Khan, Mr. Yahya Mir, Mr. Noman Khan while Mr. Maria Akbar, Mrs. Sheila Khan, Mr. Alia Yousafzai and Ayesha Jamshed will represent the youth in the meeting.
