Red Mosque Cleric Maulana Abdulaziz Gets Relief from Court

ISLAMABAD: The cleric of Red Mosque(las masjid) Maulana Abdulaziz was set free by civil court of Islamabad on Wednesday  in two cases out of seven registered against him in 2004 and 2007 by then former president Mushraf regime.

The cases were registered against the cleric on the charges of rebellion against the government.

After the decision the lawyer of the Maulana Abdulaziz Wajeh Ullha khan told the media that today we proved that all the cases against his client were fake and registered on the bases of political enmity.

Today we got the justice from independent judiciary and hope we will succeed in the remaining cases,he further added.
