Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Salvation movement demanded early release of all arrested who are languished in different jails and police stations and also appealed the international community to draw attention towards Kashmir resolution and worst kind of human rights violation in Kashmir by Indian armed forces. Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement activists staged a peaceful protest at press colony Srinagar against continues Human Rights Violation committed by Indian Forces in Kashmir. The protest was headed by Salvation Movement leaders Zulfikar Hameed, Moulana Rafiq, Imtiyaz Ahmad, Farooq Ahmad, Mehraj-ud-Din. Participants pitch high thought slogan in favor of freedom and against human rights violations.
Addressing on the occasion JK Salvation Movement demanded impartial probe in innocent killings during the present people uprising from the martyrdom of Burhan Wani. Talking to media said that even a single probe has not been ordered to punish the killers of innocent kashmiris and those Govt. While using AFSPA more than Hundreds kashmiris have been blinded ,injured thousands and killing more than hundred through pellet gun / PAVA shelling and indiscriminate firing over common people during last 5 months uprising.
A high level delegation of Salvation Movement comprising incharge women wing Ruqaya Bhaji, Zahida Akhter and Secretary JKSM Zulfiqar Hamid, Moulan Rafiq, Gowher Khalid visited martyrs families including Martyer Brhan Wani in Tral south Kashmir, while Salvation movement chief Zaffar Akber also express solidarity with Burhans grandfather on phone. During their visit they interacted with the bereaved families and extended condolences and expressed sympathy. On the occasion the people apprised them about the highhandedness of forces and police and said that during night raids police is detaining innocent youth and ransacking properties .Deputation found that despite all the agonies, the spirits of people were high and their affiliation with freedom movement is very strong and inspiring .During their visit the deputation prayed at various martyrs graveyards and offered Fateh Khawni .They visited the families of various injured persons and detinue families to provided them moral support and assured that party will explore every possible means of support to them.
In another development state Government in Indian controlled disallowed Seerat conference, which was scheduled to be held at the Hyderpora residence of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, in Srinagar on Monday. The entire Hurriyet leadership including Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik were invited to participate in the conference. However, the authorities placed Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest at his Nigeen residence in Srinagar. Heavy contingent of police was deployed outside the residence of Syed Ali Gilani to ensure no one could enter the venue. Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chief, Muhammad Yasin Malik along with other Hurriyet leaders was stopped outside Syed Ali Gilani’s residence, and was not allowed to enter the house. Hurriyet leaders and organizations in their statements termed the act as interference in religious matters
