Lahore: Saudi Arabia set a precedent of humanity and human service by providing assistance to Choronavirus affected Muslim countries and all other deserving regions of the world amidst Covid-19 lockdown scenario. Amidst prevailing Coronavirus pandemic, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provided relief packages to Palestine, Indonesia, Sudan, Malaysia, Philippines, Yuganda, Bosnia, Chad, Pakistan, Senegal, Keniya and all the under developed countries.

In a joint statement, leadership of Pakistan Ulema Council including Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Maulana Abdul Karim Nadeem, Allama Tahirul Hasssan, Allama Abdul Haq Mujahid, Maulana Ayub Safdar, Maulana Zubair Zahid, and others thanked  Saudi  King Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Amir Muhammad bin Salman for providing relief packages and assistance for Muslim Ummah as well as for other under developed countries in wake of Coronavirus pandemic lockdown.

Ulemas stated that Saudi leadership played the role of leader of Muslim Ummah amidst Coronavirus lockdown and set a precedent of humanity and human service by providing relief assistance to Muslims all over the world in wake of Coronavirus and specifically in the holy month of Ramadan.

One-third population of the world has been Quarentined in wake of Coronavirus lockdown, millions of people have become jobless amidst prevailing pandemic and  Amidst this challenging scenario, Saudi authorities established relief centers and provided relief assistance to Muslims all over the world.

The clerics stated that Saudi Arabia playing very responsible role for Coronavirus affected people as relief and ration bags are being provided at doorstep of deserving families with assistance of Saudi Arabia.

On instructions of Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Ministry of Religious Affairs of Saudi Arabia has been providing assistance to faithfuls all over Muslim world for Iftars as per traditions of past years. Iftaar programs are being continued with Saudi assistance in 18 Muslim countries and under this assistance program, one million faithfuls make Iftaar as ‘Dastar khawans’ hosted by efforts of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile in aegis of Shah Salman Relief Centers, food assistance program is being made successful in various Muslim countries including Pakistan and ration bags are being distributed among deserving families in wake of Coronavirus pandemic lockdown.

Food packets and ration bags are also being distributed in various cities of Pakistan among deserving families with assistance of  Shah Salman Relief Centers.

Saudi Arabia is center of Muslims across the world and providing assistance being responsible leader of Muslim Ummah.
