Islamabad: The incarcerated chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah paid rich tributes to Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Molvi Farooq, Shaheed-e-Hurriyat Abdul Gani Lone, Hawal martyrs saying we are indebted to their invaluable sacrifices.
According to the statement, Shah said the Kashmiri nation is indebted to the sacrifices of these great martyrs and no one will be allowed to play with these sacrifices.
He said the ‘best and worst times’ in freedom movements is natural but history is witness that the nation which remains steadfast and committed to its goal (of freedom) eventually succeeds.
Shah said the world cannot turn away its eyes from Kashmir issue and people’s legitimate struggle for right to self-determination for long but has to resolve it according to the wishes and aspirations of its people.
He said remembering these martyrs rejuvenates” our pro-freedom spirit and strengthens our relation with martyrs adding that the path of freedom is always filled with thorns and hardships.”
Reiterating his stand over freedom movement, Shah said this path is full of hardships and the goal is achieved only after passing through difficult phases. Revering the sacrifices of our martyrs and we all should keep ourselves ready to pursue their footprints,” he said.
