Islamabad: Supreme Commander Hizbul Mujahideen, Syed Salahuddin on Tuesday while paying rich tributes to Lashkar-e-Toiba operational commander Abu Dujana and his associate Arif Lelhari termed his separation a setback, adding that “ history is testimony to the fact that each drop of blood of a martyr has produced thousands of mujahideen,” he said.
Abu Dujana and his associate Arif who were martyred in an encounter on Tuesday with occupation forces in district Pulwama of occupied territory.
According to the statement issued to press here Hizb Chief Syed Salahuddin said: “Abu Dujana was a force to reckon with. Being a military expert, he was not only popular among Mujahid but also a bête-noire of armed forces.”
“New Delhi’s approach vis-à-vis Kashmir has made it clear that armed struggle is the only solution to Kashmir issue. Freedom-loving people back the mujahideen who are fighting for a just cause. However, there are some black sheep who aid and assist the government forces,” he said.
