Tahir Ashrafi Strongly condemned the houthi missiles attacks on Saudi Arabia

Islamabad: Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Ashrafi, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC)  has strongly condemned the missile and unmanned aerial vehicle attacks targeting civilians and civilian objects in Saudi Arabia by Houthi militias.

In a statement, the PUC chairman said the use of sophisticated  weapons by the Houthis reveals the “true, ugly face” of this militia as it reveals “Anti Saudi countries intentions and plans targeting Saudi Arabia.”

Ashrafi praised the “vigilance of Saudi forces and their success in intercepting the missiles fired from Yemen into Saudi territory.”

Saudi Arabia’s Air Defense Forces intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles and six drones fired by Houthi militia toward Saudi Arabia on Sunday night, the Arab Coalition supporting Yemen’s legitimate government said early Monday.

The Houthis have for the past five years targeted various civilian areas and industrial sites in the Saudi Kingdom. Among these were the airport in Riyadh, an oil refinery in the Eastern Province, various targets in western regions of Najran, Jazan and Asir, as well as the holy city of Makkah.
