Turkey would not leave Pakistanis alone at this trying time: Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul

Rawalpindi: Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul, said Turkey will not leave Pakistanis alone at this time of need and Turkish relief orgiznations will continue to support the needy peope of Pakistan affected by corona pandemic. Turkish envoy expressed these views while distribuiting ceremony of food item among the needy people in Rawalpindi on Thursday.

A Turkish non-governmental organization IHH-NL  distributed food items among needy people affected of Rawalpindi.

Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul addressing the ceremony said that Pakistan and Turkey were two brotherly countries with centuries old relationship. “COVID-19 is worldwide pandemic that had griped the entire world, Yurdakul said the Turkish NGOs would continue to support the needy masses in Pakistan”, he added.

Ration bags comprising flour, rice, sugar, oil, and other essential commodities were provided to the needy people in garrison city of Rawalpindi by IHH-NL at a ceremony held at the office of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), said a statement.

Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul, Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Anwarul Haq, Chairman RDA Tariq Mehmood Murtaza and Secretary IHH-NL Ikhlaqur Rahman also attended the ceremony.

The deputy commissioner thanked the Turkish ambassador for extending his support to help the deserving people in this critical situation.

He said that Turkey and Pakistan were working together for the welfare of the poor people in Pakistan.
