Islamabad: United Jihad Council (UJC) both factions of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Azad Kashmir Chapter,Human Rights activists and civil society carried out rally and staged sit-in in front of UN Office here in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Before submitting the resolution to United Nations observers, United Jihad Council (UJC) chairman and Hizbul Mujahdeen chief commander Syed Salhudin offered the funeral prayers in absentia for Burhan Wani and other kashmiri youth who have been killed by Indian forces since Friday.
Protesters were carrying anti Indian posters banners and play card and raised the anti Indian slogans. Condemning ongoing killings of Kashmiris by Indian security forces in Indian controlled Kashmir after martyrdom of Hizbul Commander Burhan , UJC and APHC leaders appealed the international community to play its role to settle the Kashmir dispute according to aspirations of Jammu Kashmir people through United Nations plebiscite.
On the occasion UJC Chief Syed Salahuddin, Sheikh Jamil Rehman secretary General UJC, Muhmmad Usman wise chairman UJC, APHC leaders Muhmmad Farooq Rehmani, Mahmood Saghir, Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Altaf Ahmad Butt, Mir Tahir Masood, Saleem Haroon, Abdul Hameed Lone, Ishtiyaq Hameed,Syed Aijaz Ahmad, Adocate Perveez, Sheikh Yaqoob, Sheikh Mateen, JI AJK leader Ghulam Nabi Nowshehri and others presented resolution regarding Jammu kashmir dispute to UN military observers stationed in Pakistan. In the resolution UJC and APHC leadership of Kashmiris demanded of the United Nations to resolve the Kashmir dispute according to the resolutions of UNO. The Kashmiri leadership said that if the international community will not play its role regarding the resolution of the Kashmir dispute then no other option except armed struggle will be left for Kashmiris.
They said if the Kashmir dispute was not resolved peacefully then there is fear of nuclear war between the two neighbors, which could lit the peace of region and whole world. They said that the government and opposition should back the Kashmiris while forgetting their political differences so that the freedom movement could be entered into decisive phase. They said Indian forces would have to face hundreds and thousands of Burhan Wani after the martyrdom of Burhan Muzaffar Wani. They said that the struggle of Kashmiris will continue till the presence of last Indian soldier in occupied Kashmir.
According to SABH News Syed Salahuddin on the occasion spoke the media and said that we have gathered here to inform the world community about the situation of occupied Kashmir. He said that the whole Kashmiri nation is protesting against India over the martyrdom of Burhan Muzaffar Wani, adding that Kashmiris are facing the eight hundred thousand Indian forces bravely. He said protest of Kashmiris is a public referendum. He said the international community should take this public referendum seriously, adding that the Kashmiris are struggling for self determination from last seven decades. He said Burhan Wani is not an individual but the name of theory, vigor, character and belief. He said that until and unless last Indian soldier is present in occupied Kashmir the struggle of Kashmiris at armed, political and diplomatic fronts will continue.
Hizbul Mujahdeen chief Syed Salahuddin said that first time the Jehadi leadership along with Hurriyat leadership come in UN to convey the message to world that the Kashmiris are peace loving people. He said Indian tyrannies forced kashmiris to start armed struggle. He said they are conveying message to UN that the Kashmiris want peaceful resolution of the problem. He said the Kashmir dispute should be resolved according to the resolutions of UN. He said if the international community will fail to play its role then the Kashmiris would be left with no option other then the armed struggle. He said that the Kashmiri leadership should uphold its unity. He said Pakistan should highlight the current situation of Kashmir at different forums including UNO and OIC and should ask international community to help stopping the genocide of Kashmiris.
In Pakistan controlled Kashmir Capital Muzaffarabad Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu Kashmir (PHJK) headed by Uzair Ahmad Gazali and Vice Chairman of International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Mushtaq ul Islam jointly organized a protest rally on Wednesday to condemne Indian atrocities and show solidarity with the depressed people of Jammu Kashmir. Scores of protesters form Kashmiri Migrants, Hizbul Mujahdeen and Lashkar-e-Taiba(LeT) reiterated its commitment to continue the freedom struggle until the Kashmir Issue to be resolved according to the United Nations resolutions.
