Islamabad: The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Self-Determination Movement International (JKSDMI) Raja Najabat Hussain urged United Nations and European Union to move forward and take concrete steps to prevent the ethnic cleansing of the unarmed and innocent people of Jammu and Kashmiri. He demanded the international community to put pressure on India to lift its occupational lockdown of Kashmir, end the siege and grant right of self-determination to the people of Kashmir.
In his message regarding the India Republic Day JKSDMI chairman Raja Najabat Hussain said that the Kashmiri diaspora across the globe are observing India’s Republic Day as black day today to expose India’s hegemonic and fanatic designs, particularly the oppressive face of the Indian government, ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, and its ally RSS. He said the Indian Prime Minister tried to impose its fascist designs on the minorities of India, but whole of India had risen up against the BJP and the RSS nefarious designs.
Raja Najabat Hussain said that Kashmiri diaspora and the Jammu and Kashmir Self-Determination Movement International would continue their struggle to raise their voice against the Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir. The Kashmiri people have been resisting against the occupation of Kashmir by India for the last 72 years, and they would continue their struggle until they get their goal right to self-determination according to the UN resolutions, he added.
He said India is neither democratic nor a secular state but instead has become a country where Muslims, christens and other minorities are being denied their democratic rights, India continues to occupy the Muslim majority state of Jammu and Kashmir, and now under a malicious plan, it is ousting the Kashmiri people from their homeland after 5 august actions.
Raja Najabat Hussain said that Pakistan’s role in the UN Security Council, raising its voice in the world parliaments in support of the Kashmiri people, and the support by many countries to the right of self-determination of the Kashmiri people are practical steps, but If India committed any aggression, the military action against it can also not be ruled out.
He paid glowing tributes to the Kashmiri people and Kashmiri leadership who have been offering sacrifices amidst Indian brutalities.
