Prime Minister admired the efforts of women in general elections saying that women workers had played key role in previous elections and incumbent government has decided to enroll participation of women in discretionary posts besides maintaining their involvement in local body elections.

Prime Minister lamented that unfortunately there are no any ideal health facilities available for women in far-flung areas of the State, even young doctors hailing from same areas do not want to go back and perform their duties in backward and rural areas. “Doctors working in the remote areas have been upgraded, apart from the provision of facilities to solve their problems”, the Prime Minister added.
