Islamabad: Senior Hurriyat Leader Altaf Ahmed Bhat said that the health condition of Chairman Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Zafar Akbar Bhat deteriorated because of prolonged Indian illegal detention.
Zafar Akbar Bhat shifted to hospital from Police Station Chana Pora and his condition is critical. He has been seriously ill under the detention of Indian security forces and has been suffering from high blood pressure. His health condition has continuously been deteriorating and security forces kept on temporarily shifting him from one hospital to another. While the critical condition of Hurriyat Leader Zafar Akbar Bhat needs proper treatment and continued monitoring of his high blood pressure. But no proper treatment and health facilities are risking the life of Hurriyat Leader Zafar Akbar Bhat.
“While the lack of medical facilities is feared, the Coronavirus will infect the lives of other Hurriyat leaders detained by the Indian Army. Therefore, the World Wide Organization makes sure they pressurize India to apply the Coronavirus prevention measures in prisons. Bhat added.”
Appealing to the World Health Organization President Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Altaf Ahmed Bhat said that the health condition of Zafar Akbar Bhat is deteriorating, While the death toll from the Coronavirus is increasing worldwide, there are no precautionary measures for Kashmirs in this regard.
Moreover, The Hurriyat Leaders Zafar Akbar Bhat and Yaseen Malik and others are facing hardships due to poor health conditions and facilities.
