Islamabad: Chairman Jammu and Kashmir salvation movement(JKSM) Zaffar Akbar Bhat has urged the pro-freedom leadership to forge unity among the ranks and develop consensus on strategy to carry forward the resistance moment, adding that unity is the need of hour to carry forward the mission of martyrs.
According to the statement issued to press, the JKSM chief said resistance leadership is already divided into two factions and the formation of new faction will only cause confusion and weaken our resistance against occupation.
He said Kashmiris resistance is legitimate, and suppression, curbs, detentions and killings would not weaken the kashmiris resolve to carry forward their struggle of freedom. He said the struggle of Kashmiris is based on just principle and people have offered innumerable sacrifices of life and property for the cause of freedom.
The JKSM chief paid glowing tributes to martyrs of Kashmir and said the mission of martyrs will be taken s logical end at all costs. He expressed deep concern and anguish over the deteriorating situation of Kashmiri detainees and Continuous illegal detention of leadership and youth and urged the international human rights organisations to impress upon India to stop human rights violations in Kashmir and release all political detainees.
